TEMSA Extends Urban Range to 600 Kilometers with the 9-Meter Electric Avenue Neo
With seven new vehicles designed in the last five years and battery solutions developed for different industries, TEMSA is among the companies leading the global mobility transformation. At Busworld 2025, held in Brussels between October 4-9, TEMSA introduced its 9-meter electric bus, Avenue Neo. Built upon the 5 million-kilometer experience of the MD9 Electricity, which has been operating in various parts of the world since 2016, Avenue Neo offers a range of up to 600 kilometers with its high-capacity battery option.
Continuing to develop vehicles that create their own segment worldwide, TEMSA unveiled its 9-meter urban bus Avenue Neo at Busworld 2025. With a passenger capacity of 75 and a range of up to 600 kilometers, Avenue Neo has been designed to provide solutions not only for inner-city transport but also for distant districts within metropolitan areas. It can reach 100% charge in just 75 minutes with a 300 kW DC connection.
Designed at TEMSA’s Adana facilities in line with the latest advancements in mobility technologies and global market expectations, Avenue Neo’s battery packaging, software, and development processes were all carried out by TEMSA engineers.
Avenue Neo was built on the robust architecture of the MD9 Electricity, which has been successfully operating since 2016 in regions ranging from the cold winters of Sweden and Lithuania to the hot summers of Spain and Turkey. Leveraging the MD9 Electricity’s 5 million kilometers of road experience, Avenue Neo has been further enhanced with next-generation technologies to deliver higher efficiency and durability.
Avenue Neo provides a strong alternative for municipalities in Turkey aiming to make their fleets more environmentally friendly, while also serving as an important part of Turkey’s value-added export mobilization by being exported to various global markets.
“We Increased Our Revenue by 68% in Euros Over the Last 3 Years”

Speaking at the press conference at Busworld, TEMSA CEO Evren Güzel highlighted the company’s value-driven approach:
“TEMSA is unique in the industry thanks to four core values: our broad product range, comprehensive services, customer-oriented solutions, and smart flexibility. This approach not only contributes to our mobility transformation but also brings very strong financial results. In the three-year period between 2022-2024, we increased our net sales by 68% in Euro terms. By the end of 2024, we raised our revenue to €429 million, achieving the highest turnover in our company’s history in foreign currency terms. Today, 68% of TEMSA’s revenues come from global markets. While doing all this, we strengthened our footprint in highly competitive markets such as Europe and the US. Between 2023-2024, our growth rate in Europe was 43%, while in the US it was 49%. In markets where even double-digit annual growth is considered ambitious, we continued to outperform industry averages. Our ability to deliver strategic transformation alongside strong financial performance is proof of our balance. This balance will be one of TEMSA’s strongest drivers on its future journey.”
“TEMSA Vehicles Have Covered More Than 10 Billion Kilometers Worldwide”
Evren Güzel also emphasized TEMSA’s global footprint:
“To date, we have produced more than 140,000 vehicles at our Adana facilities. Over 18,000 of these vehicles are currently operating in 70 countries. We have one of the world’s broadest zero-emission product portfolios. In electrification, the value chain that begins after raw material supply and extends to the final product is the most critical element of mobility. As TEMSA, being active across this entire chain gives us significant flexibility and agility. All battery technologies used in our vehicles, from battery management systems to electronic control units, are designed and developed entirely by our own engineers. This capability allows us to develop tailor-made solutions for different geographies and respond quickly to customer needs. The fact that our TS series has created its own segment in the US and our MD9 has done the same in Europe stems from this approach. Our new electric vehicle, Avenue Neo, is a product of the same philosophy. With nearly 60 years of innovation, TEMSA vehicles have traveled more than 10 billion kilometers worldwide. The most important factor enabling all these journeys is our continuous listening to customers and designing our vehicles according to their needs.”
Seven Different Vehicles in the Last Five Years
Caner Sevginer, TEMSA Deputy General Manager for R&D and Technology, underlined that every step in innovation is aimed at commercialization:
“Thanks to this approach, we have developed seven new models in the last five years. Avenue Neo is the latest example of this. Avenue Neo has been designed to meet the needs of European cities and suburban lines with its high passenger capacity, long range, and operational flexibility. The vehicle’s two strongest features are its passenger capacity and range. Avenue Neo, which can carry 75 passengers, offers a range of up to 600 kilometers. Considering that range limitations are one of the biggest obstacles to the electric vehicle transition in Europe, Avenue Neo stands out as a strong alternative. Another feature that sets Avenue Neo apart is that it is a product of TEMSA’s customer-focused segment creation power. It offers everything a 10.5-meter bus provides while retaining the durability and robustness that smaller platforms cannot offer. Built on the strong architecture of the MD9 Electricity, which has proven itself in various climates from Sweden and Lithuania’s harsh winters to Spain and Turkey’s hot summers, Avenue Neo combines over 5 million kilometers of road experience with next-generation technologies. The transfer of this accumulated knowledge into a modern vehicle makes Avenue Neo the clearest demonstration of TEMSA’s ability to transform expertise into customer-oriented, future-ready mobility solutions.”
The New Prestij Launched in Europe

At the fair, where Avenue Neo made its global debut, TEMSA also introduced its New Prestij model to the European market, following its launch in Turkey a few months earlier. First produced in 1992, Prestij pioneered short-distance transport in Turkey for many years. Now available in Europe, the New Prestij offers a 3-year/unlimited mileage warranty to enhance customer satisfaction. With its digital driver information display, the cockpit has been made more advanced, while 29 language options provide great convenience for international users.
Meanwhile, TEMSA’s stand at Busworld 2025 was designed to reflect the company’s mobility vision. Alongside Avenue Neo and the New Prestij, the updated version of TEMSA’s iconic Maraton model and the refreshed face of its most popular European model, LD SB, were also showcased. Modular battery packs, developed by TEMSA engineers to meet the needs of different industries, were also presented at the exhibition, giving participants the chance to experience the TEMSA universe firsthand.
